Sanjay Sethi Profile
Sanjay Sethi is Senior Executive Director and heads the Infrastructure Group at Kotak Investment Banking.
Sanjay has over 23 years of experience in Corporate and Project Finance, Project Development, Project Advisory and Resource Raising across infrastructure sectors like power, telecommunications, highways, seaports, airports, railways and SEZs.
He joined Kotak Investment Banking in 2007 to set-up its infrastructure practice and now leads a team of experienced infrastructure investment banking professionals. The team provides the entire gamut of equity, debt, M&A and advisory solutions to public and private sector corporates engaged in infrastructure development across the country.
The Infrastructure Group has successfully completed several marquee transactions and has established itself as one of the premier infrastructure investment banking teams in the country.
Prior to joining Kotak, Sanjay was head of the Project Finance and Private Sector Group of IL&FS Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. and also the Chief Operating Officer of IL&FS Cluster Development Initiative Ltd.
Sanjay completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM), specializing in Finance from the Institute of Management Technology in 1987 and his B.Com. (H) from Delhi University in 1985.
Sanjay is a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) National Committee on Transport Infrastructure, CII’s Core Group on Roads and Highways and the Indo-UK Core Group on PPP in Infrastructure.
